In 2018 I went to my first convention wearing my first handmade cosplay. I had admired cosplayers for years but never had the confidence to make and wear my own untill I found friends to do it with me! My first ever cosplay project was a original design of Scarlet witch based off of a couple of her comic adaptations.  It was super rough around the edges, but it was enough to get me hooked! 4 years down the line and I’m making fully handmade projects that win awards. 

What really got me into making cosplays as a creative outlet was the start of the pandemic. Before the shutdown I was making cosplay slowly in my free time, but when everything was closed I had every excuse to just stay home and work on my projects. The first pandemic year I made 3 costumes from start to finish! I’ve slowed down a little since then, because my projects have increased exponentially in size and detail! My most recent build Striga’s Day Armor took me around 6 months of crafting!

I feel my skills only getting better and I’m really excited to see everything I can achieve with this hobby. I recently got my first guest position at a convention and hosted my first panel! You can hear more about that in my Updates section.
